A Call to Conscience Interactive Theater for Social Change will hold auditions for “Vol.1- A Post Racial America.” Written by Vincent Terrell Durham, the play is an anthology of theatrical episodes investigating the idea of a “Post Racial America;” the premise of a broken promise and reminder that the emergency brake of the Race in America Train has been pulled, lurching a railcar full of hopeful African Americans back to a time when 46.09% of voters believed America was great. This anthology of episodes will take the audience on a virtual railway journey; disembark the stalled train, dragging her back to 1619 then moving toward 2024 and the reclamations of a real promise of a “Post Racial America.”
